March Pictures

Here are a collection of pictures from the month of March. Enjoy!

Here he is dressed in his new Carter's outfit. We thought it was time for Jeremy to stop

showing up in his pyjamas everywhere we went!

Jeremy has been having really bad gas (and discomfort - poor little guy) and SJ suggested finding a large pot to submerge him in. This is supposed to help relieve gas and also to calm the intestines. However - we realized that we don't really have a big pot, so this was the best we could do. He actually kind of liked it!

Dad and Jeremy have cuddle time.

Our first trip to Grand Bend was during March Break, when we went to stay with Grandma
Flo up at the Cove. The weather was gorgeous and the Baby Bijorn was perfect!

Jeremy and I are dancing to the song that Justin and I danced to at the wedding.

Dad and Jeremy on St. Patrick's Day.

This is the hat that Aunt Joy brought back from her trip to Virginia. Almost fits...

Thinking about something, I'm sure.

Jeremy was just starting to look at the camera and not flinch from the light.

Bath time!

Tummy time with Daddy!

Shower

We had a shower for Jeremy at Sonia's parents' place in London. It was fantastic (mostly because there were tacos for lunch!). The cake was delicious and people drove all the way from Peterborough, which we were so thankful for. We really had fun seeing everyone and it's not a party until someone plays Catch Phrase. Thanks for all the organizing, girls!

Mmmm....cake.

The Fish things never get old - I love these adorable towels.

Cole (who just had his first birthday) thought that the cake was for dipping his fingers in.
This is the result - lots of icing on his face and a mischievious little smile!

Visitors

During the first few weeks, we had lots of visitors. Here are some pictures of people who came to see us (okay...see Jeremy).
Here is a picture of Jeremy's first friend, Brody.

Week Two

Week Two

Grandma Flo went home after week one and Grandma McMillan came to stay for week number two. We started to see Jeremy's eyes more this week (because he was awake for longer than two minutes at a time!) and we continued to see lots of visitors!

Mommy's hand.
After taking away the soother, Jeremy made many attempts to put his hand/fingers into this mouth. Still having no control over his hands, this was fun to watch!

Shhhh

This is the play mat that we got from Carrie and Mike. We love it!

Clearly, Jeremy loves it too!

The bath took a few hands for the first few weeks. Jeremy doesn't like being cold, but he loves the bath once he is in the water and feeling warm.

Week One

Week One

The first week home after Jeremy was born brought a lot of visitors! It was a bit of a revolving door here and we were so happy to see everyone (and let everyone hold Jeremy). Thanks to all of our visitors!

Jeremy's face was really round when he was first born.

This is my favourite picture of Jeremy. He is sitting in his crib (which he wasn't sleeping in yet) and he had just had a bath.

Justin is trying to get Jeremy ready for a life time of losing...I mean, cheering. This is the only Leaf's paraphernalia that we could find in the house for this picture.

Jeremy loved sucking right off the bat, so we let him use the soother to calm him. Little did we know about a certain concept called Nipple Confusion - and we had to take the soother away for a couple of months.

Our visitors - Week one

This is Geoff holding Jeremy - and Justin holding Brody (born 12 days before Jeremy).

This is Sonia and Kevin, who had just returned from the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. They were all decked out in gear, so we got Jeremy suited up for this picture.

After his first bath - Daddy had some cuddles with Ducky towel.

Grandpa holding Jeremy for the first time.

Uncle Colin out for our first walk with our stroller. Navigating around the snow...
