Family resemblance

We're going to have to keep dressing Leah in pink, just so we can tell their baby pictures apart!

Our first week as a family of four has been exciting. Jeremy is adjusting to having someone else in the house take up some of our attention and Leah seems to like us. We have had lots of help from Grandma Flo (staying in the wonderful new guest suite in the basement), Grandma McMillan, and Aunty Cath.

Jeremy came to the hospital to meet his new little sister. He was quite taken with how small she is and laughed when she sneezed.

Leah Arrives

Leah Elizabeth Fish arrived on Wednesday, February 22nd. She was 7 pounds 11 ounces and arrived very quickly at 6:00 in the morning. Lots of changes in the family right now and Jeremy is having a good time learning all about being a big brother. Here are a few pictures of our first week together.

Birthday

Grandma and Uncle C came over on the weekend to help celebrate Jeremy's birthday. They also brought a special birthday card from Aunty Cath. Here are a couple of pics:

Jeremy's 2nd Birthday

With the pending arrival of the new baby, we celebrated Jeremy's 2nd birthday at home with a couple of Jeremy's friends. I made some Elmo cupcakes (a huge hit!) and we got a few balloons (also quite popular). Thanks to Steph, Dan, Sam, and Pete for making Jeremy feel special on his big day!
